OpenMX/QMAS workshop 2008

Registration

All the participants including the invited speakers are kindly requested to make the registration of the workshop by February 15, 2010. The registration will be completed to fill the registration form and to send it the secretariat (rcis@jaist.ac.jp). Due to the capacity of the workshop place, we will be able to accept registrations of up to fifty participants.

Also participants who will present a talk or a poster are requested to submit an abstract (1 page) to the secretariat (rcis@jaist.ac.jp) by Februray 24, 2010. Although any format of the abstract is acceptable, a WORD format is available for your convenience. We will accept any poster presentation in which the OpenMX or QMAS code is NOT used.

No registration fee will be charged. If the participants attend the banquet on Tuesday, we would like to appreciate your donation (3000 Japanese yen for regular participants, 1000 Japanese yen for students). All the payments should be made in Japanese cash at the registration desk of the workshop. No personal check or credit card will be accepted.


Accommodation

Participants may stay at the hotel Gracery Tamachi of around 9000 yen/night, which is about 300 m away from the JAIST satellite campus. See also the map. If you wish to make a reservation for the hotel, please fill necessary information in the registration form and send it the secretariat (rcis@jaist.ac.jp) by February 15, 2010. In this case, you will receive an e-mail from the secretariat for confirmation of booking.


Financial Support

All the invited speakers will be financially supported including the airfare and the accommodation, and kindly requested to bring the reciept of the airfare and the ticket stubs. Also, limited participants who present his/her poster in the poster session will be partly supported. The students will be given priority for the financial support. If you would need the financial support, please contact the secretariat (rcis@jaist.ac.jp). Since the budget is limited, we will not be able to support all the requests.
