An easier way to get JAIST from Tokyo area is to make use
of an airplane connecting Haneda and Komatsu airports.
There is an airplane of 11 round trips a day as scheduled
in the
time table
.
From the Komatsu airport to JAIST and the Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel,
there is the
Airport Limousine Bus
bound for Kanazawa Institute
of Technology.
It will take about 35 and 60 minutes to JAIST and the
Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel, respectively, from the Komatsu
airport.
Since the Airport Limousine Bus is not provided
to all the airplanes, but to limited airplanes, it is highly
recommended to make a reservation of the flight according to
the
time table
of the Airport Limousine Bus.
If you take a taxi from Komatsu Airport to the Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel,
it will take about 50 minutes and the fare is about
9000 Japanese yen.
From Osaka
If you come by train, it is better to get off at JR Kanazawa
Station rather than JR Komatsu Station because there is no
train connection from JR Komatsu Station to JAIST.

If you take a taxi from JR Komatsu Station, it takes about
25 minutes and the fare to JAIST is about 5000 yen.
From Narita, Sapporo, Sendai, and Fukuoka
An easier way to get JAIST from Narita, Sapporo, Sendai, Fukuoka areas
is to make use of an airplane connecting Narita, Shinchitose,
Sendai, and Fukuoka, and Komatsu airports as scheduled
in the
time table
.
From the Komatsu airport to JAIST and the Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel,
there is the
Airport Limousine Bus
bound for Kanazawa Institute of Technology.
It will take about 35 and 60 minutes to JAIST and the
Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel, respectively, from the Komatsu
airport, while the time of bus is not convenient for
these flights.
If you take a taxi from the Komatsu Airport to the
Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel, it will take about 50 minutes
and the fare is about 9000 Japanese yen.
From Seoul
From Inchon to the Komatsu airports, there are
four direct flights for a week.

the air terminal building.

from the Komatsu airport.
The fare is 750 and 1100 Japanese yen for JAIST and the Kanazawa
